Haiti Mission Trip

We returned to Haiti to continue the mission work started there.  A team of folks from Forest Hill, Mt. Lebanon, and Marble Hill served with Living Water Haiti Missions to continue construction on the mission house and share Christmas with the kids. 

 

First Building To Be Constructed on Living Water Haiti Children's Home Property!

We are so excited to update you on what has been going on at the Living Water Haiti Children’s Home property.  The wall around the property is complete.  A big praise for the  ministry that dug a well on our land.  They found fresh water!   The amazing thing:  There have been three wells dug around the property and all were salty water.  God gets all the  glory!

In December Pastor Gary Thomas is leading a team from Forest Hill Baptist Church to start construction on the first building!  The team will be working on the foundation for the mission house.  We are excited about this project because it will allow us to move onto the property!  The budget for this phase is $12,000, and we have already raised over $10,000! If you would like to give towards this project please send donations to Forest Hill Baptist Church with a notation saying LWH Mission House.

December 2014-January 2015 Trip to Haiti

Pastor Gary Thomas led a team from Forest Hill Baptist Church to start construction on the first building the day after Christmas 2014 !  The Forest Hill Baptist Church Mission team began construction on the first building within the property walls of Living Water Haiti Children’s Home.

By Tuesday, December 30, 2014,  the construction team were able to pose at the site of the mission house.  The foundation of the perimeter for the mission house was completed!

The Mission Team from Forest Hill Baptist Church took Christmas gifts from the members of the church to each of the children.
